  1. Are you sure it isn't the Sun.

  2. Some say it is attention seeking , some blame the news-papers but i just cannot see how that is possible. I know a lot of people would like to see their faces in a mag, newspaper on tele but i fail to see how this would be to an advantage to a person who has killed themselves. I think there is more behind it than that. Wonder if it has anything to do with black magic or some such thing. It is just the saddest story ever. I feel so sorry for those teenagers for whatever the reason was behind it all and for their parents as well. If the newspapers are now to blame now what or who was to blame for the 1st people who took their own lifes. Maybe the mystery will unfold and hopefully this will be the last of the kids taking their own lifes. Very sad indeed.:(

  3. Poppycock

The Internet will be found to be entirely to blame. It's a pact.

  4. That photograph definitely wasn't in the Daily Mail today. I should know, I have just finished reading it. What would that have to do with Bridgend anyway? Yesterdays front page featured a photograph of 'Jenna' one of the Bridgend victims. How on earth do you connect the legitimate reporting of these tragic events, as every newspaper did, with there occurrence? Today, the Mail reported that it had taken great with the reporting of these events because of the sensitivity associated with them.

Is your real purpose to demonise the Mail?

  5. For me your link just showed me Kylie Minogue selling her wares again .....

Loads of these suicides happened way before the tabloids got hold of the story - I think they only got in on the act after suicide number 14, so what are the police blaming the other 13 on ?

  6. Due to the puzzling vagueness of your question one can only guess what this connection is.Are you suggesting these kids were seeking fame if only in death?Hmm,tenuous.

  7. i don't know how you connect the two? what has Kylie to do with bridend? and what has it got to do with the daily mail? have i missed something ere

  8. nope

  9. NO WAY

  10. actualy to the person above.. they were reported before the 14th one... they were at about the 5th maybe...? But not all around the world... I live in Bridgend.. so It was in all the local papers...

My opinion is that the first few were genuine.. teenagers who did it for whatever reason...then the media got involved.. A lot of them were pupils from Byrntirion as well... so evryone knew each other, so now I think more have done it because they were upset about their friends.. and now the media has really hyped it all up... and most of it is for attention (not expecting to actually die...to be found or something)... And that poor 10 year old boy who saw it on the media.. and thought it was the only way because he didn't want to be a boy.. I mean.. what 10 year old kid would think about ending their life if the media hadn't played these suicides so much.!? Luckily he was found (thank god) and survived.... but that IS the media's fault...

    Well my personal opinion anyway.

  11. Thats a picture of ? Kylie, since when did she live in Bridgend. Something unsavoury is going on there, is it drug related.

  12. I don't agree.

  13. No

    Don't think so.

The little ones were exposing the "Candle in the wind"

    Luke 9.25,55-56,60

    Luke 8.5-8,10-17

    Luke 11.33-36

    Luke 6.39-40,41-45,46-49

    Luke 11.52

    What do you think?

  14. I'm lost....

Where does Kylie fit into all this?

And no, I don't think so, killing yourself is a big deal, why would the daily mail be partly to blame? Do depressed kids even read the daily mail?
