What is the difference between recieving daily digest or individual emails in yahoo groups? If I want to see everything the group is sending out, what format should I choose. I am a moderator of a group.

  1. I'd suggest individual mail- if the group allows attachments. digest is just what the word means- you get 25 posts in one e-mail/ or what ever was posted below that within 24 hrs (if in 24 hrs only 4 posts come through, that's what you'll get on digest) digest strips out the photo's or html stuff, and it's hard to read, something can be posted and you wont see it right away until the digest is sent out,  hard to reply to a single post too.

  2. If you are a moderator, it would be wise to select Individual Emails. Of course, that's my own opinion as a group moderator.  Either way, you will see everything the group is sending out.

Individual Emails: Messages are delivered one at a time to your email inbox. This is the best option if you want to keep up on the latest posts immediately. Email attachments, if included in a message and allowed by the group owner, will be sent directly to you.

Daily Digest: Messages are delivered in batches of 25 or daily, whichever comes sooner. This is the best option if you want to receive fewer mail messages and don't need up-to-the minute posts in your inbox. Email attachments are not available in digests.
