Can I subscribe to Daily message services like word of the day , inspirational messages etc, by giving the yahoo group id so that we get a daily message to the group?

No, messages to groups are only accepted by Yahoo if the sender is subscribed to the specific group.

I did a search for inspirational, there are many such groups out there, you just need tolocate one you like
