Dainel Morcombe - Missing since Dec 2003 ....?

Question

As a mum, my heart go out to this family and all the parents that have missing kids.

Any thoughts on what happened .. and will they ever find him?

... it's just been so long now, and no new leads or news.

There is no evidence that there is such a thing as psychic ability,  if you watch those programs where psychics claim to solve crimes they send a lot of time saying vague things like "I'm getting a vision of water..... I can see windows". Well duh! Where isn't there water or windows? Or they restate stuff that is public knowledge anyway.

I think it's disgraceful that these people are allowed to defraud the vulnerable public in this way!

There is always someone who knows information that can help in a case such as this.

I really wish they would grow some balls and come forward.

I can't imagine how any parents cope not knowing one way or the other.

So sad I will never forget his mothers eyes no-one should have to endure that kind of pain except those responsible for taking him they deserve to suffer .

I hope there is a special place reserved in h**l for them.

While the death of a child is incredibly hard to bear .. at least when there is a body there is a place to go and grieve and remember... when the child is missing .. I guess in one sense there is always a LITTLE bit of hope .. BUT not knowing .. and yet trying to live.. to continue on .. must be just so very very hard....

Hope for miracles but don't live on them perhaps ????

I live on the Sunshine Coast and even though the case is not getting as much publicity as it was a few years ago now, the Danial awarness is still very strong.

Infront of a local primary school here, one side of a small billboard has changed once or twice but the other side has had Danial's face on it since 2004.

It is very sad and the whole of the coast was rather shocked as was most of the country.

I think that they kept him for a while and he is either now dead or in another country that doesnt know about his disapperance.

While the Coast has moved on, his legacy is still with us.

It is disgusting and a tragedy that they can't find any clues to his whereabouts. I watched a program on tv about a month ago, where they had 3 different phyicics and they not only found where the child was missing from, but they gave the police a good description of the person responsible. In this case I think anything is worth a try.

A few hours ago I was watching the programme Missing Persons Unit on UK TV, which talked at length about this little lad.   I thought at the time that it was something that no parent should go through, and hoped, as a result of the programme going out last year, that perhaps someone might have come forward with additional information.   Obviously not.    My heart too, goes out to the Morcombe Family.
