Hi I am thinking of getting this foundation as its made for people with pale skin, and since have been getting foundation in barbra dalys tesco make up range the shade I have been getting is proceline, I went back for somemore and they dont do this shade anymore only ivory,so I got this one and its far to orange for my pale skin. As every other ivory shade is in every other brand make lol

I went and had a look for the dainty doll by nicola roberts and found them and the shades are ivory, proceline or white, both the ivory and porceline look too orange and the white look about right for me, but I dont want to go too pale, lol it might just be the colour they are on the net, but if anyone has tried it which colour would they say for pale skin

if you have pale skin and you have tried all the ivory colours in the shop and they are too orange for you skin then you have the same skin colouring as me, and if you have used this product what shade did you get, thanks

  1. First after you apply your base and it is too pale take your blush brush and give a quick brush to the foreheadd and t zone. for tips on how to deal withmakeupp watchQVC when they are having makeup shows. I learned a lot, and they have great ideas and tips without buying anything!

  2. don't buy foundation online!

  3. try a little tester of foundations on the inner wrist area...rub it in & see if it blends with your natural skin colour...then that's the one for you.

have you ever thought of using a light face powder instead??  Clinque do a nice range & they do pale ones....it's just easier applying & removing than foundation is.  just a thought!

  4. You could go to Boots and and ask them to do a consultation on your skin for foundation, it is free and they will be able to match you perfectly and get you the right type of foundation for example if you have dry or oily skin etc.

    Hope this helps

    Good Luck xxxxxx

(A very good make is clinique, I am pale and find that their bare shade works very well http://www.clinique.co.uk/templates/prod...

also if you want to test it on you yourself don't test it on your wrist, as your wrist colour and face colour can be different :-) try testing it on your jaw line.

  5. I thnk the Ivory is very pale and i doubt many people will ever need to use the white. The colour samples don't look very accurate to me and look a bit darker than how they actually go on.  Maybe you should get two colours and try mixing them to get your perfect shade. It's difficult buying online when you can't see the exact shade!
