Dakota brand work boots?

Hi I have been shopping around for safety boots and the main store which carries them is Mark's Work Wearhouse (aka L'Equipeur in Quebec). They carry a ton of Dakota brand boots, which I assume is the house brand, but there's no website or information anywhere that I can find. Are they high-end boots or low-end? Construction looks ok, bu thtat's not an indicator of how well they wear over time.

The other brand I'm interested in is Wolverine because they have a solid reputation. Of course there are loads of makers and models online but mosly US-based and I prefer to try boots on before buying!

I have a pair of Dakota work boots I purchased a year ago.  I wear them everyday (rain, snow, mud, pig s--t, etc) so my boots don't usually last a year.  The Dakota brand did!  The only problem is that I went to Marks Work yesterday to purchase another pair and they did not have my size and are in the process of dropping the whole boot line because Dakota can not supply them properly.  I am looking for another store that also sells Dakota work boots.

I would go with the Wolverine brand, I never had a problem with them and seem better made than the Dakota brand/
