Liverpool’s manager, Kenny Dalglish was all praise for his side, following their 3-2 win against Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385 in a Premier League match on Tuesday.
The Reds striker, Andy Carroll grabbed a last gasp winner for his team, after they were reduced to ten men in the 25th minute.
The win is likely to lift Dalglish’s side ahead of their semi-final fixture against their Merseyside rivals, Everton on the 14th of April.
The Scott hailed the character of his players during the topsy-turvy affair at Ewood Park, and believed that the Reds thoroughly deserved to win the match.
Dalglish said in the post match conference, “I think at the end of the day we deserved to win, we're delighted for the players, it’s not been a better time for them recently.”

The match saw Liverpool open up a two goal lead inside the first sixteen minutes, as Maxi Rodriguez netted the ball twice for the visitors within three minutes. However, Blackburn climbed their way back into the game and were level on terms, before Carroll
grabbed the decisive goal in stoppage time.
One of the major talking points of the game was the Red card shown to the Reds goalkeeper Doni, during the first half. However, the Scott refused to comment on the incident, claiming that he had not seen the replays.
“At the end of the day we’re not going to start talking about contentious decisions or otherwise that happened on the pitch because I’ve not seen it.”

Yakubu in the 27th minute. Dalglish thought that since the 29 year old goalie had played alongside the Nigerian player in Middlesbrough, he was aware of what to expect from him in the spot kick. He believed that the save will boost his confidence
ahead of their next game against Everton.
“That was a great save from a first contribution from the Premier League to save a penalty, I’m sure he’ll remember that.” He added.
The Scott also admitted that he was relieved to see Carroll get a goal at the death, and mentioned that it was a reward of all the hard work that he had put in the game.
“I think he got what he deserved, he worked hard tonight and scored a fantastic header.”
