Liverpool manager, Kenny Dalglish backed his players after their 1-0 home defeat against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday, and mentioned that his side were yet again thwarted by luck in a league game.

Liverpool have struggled to score goals throughout the current season. They have only managed 40 goals in the league in total, which is the least number amongst the top-ten teams. However, they have been denied by the frame of the goal 31 times in all competitions.
"They just need a bit of luck I think," he added.
"It sounds repetitive but it's not an excuse. We're not running away from something. It's not as if there's something drastically wrong. It is just a piece of good fortune that we need.”
