Liverpool’s boss, Kenny Dalglish went into raptures about his side’s fighting spirit, after the team’s FA Cup semi-final triumph against their Merseyside rivals Everton.
The Reds edged their neighbours 2-1 at Wembley, despite trailing by a goal at the end of the first half. Second half goals from Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll pulled off a sensational comeback-from-behind win for Dalglish’s team.
It was the first Merseyside derby played at Wembley since 1989, and the Scott was glad to see both the clubs do well in the competition.
He told reporters, “They've done that again today. For the city of Liverpool it's a fantastic day. The red half are happier than the blue.”
The Toffees went into the game on the back of an impressive run of form, having lost just 2 games in their last 13 league games. The Scott admitted that they were up against an ‘excellent’ Everton side, and the Reds needed to be at their best to get the
better of them.
“We've won 2-1 against an excellent Everton side. It was a really difficult game and I'm sure anybody who watched as a neutral really enjoyed it." He added.
The 61 year old was also all praise for his 35 million pound striker, Carroll who grabbed the winner in the dying moments of the game. The burly English footballer also played a hand in the Reds recent win against Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385 at Ewood Park, netting
a last gasp goal for his team to end their four match winless run.
He was impressed with the way his under pressure striker had responded to criticism, and called upon his side to carry their winning ways into the league.
"The lads have shown they're capable of coming back but it's not finished. We've just got to continue going forward and try and do as much as we possibly can in the remaining games of the season."
The Liverpool boss also thanked the fans for supporting the club in the difficult period, and reiterated his stance that titles will soon start pouring at Anfield.
“..Irrespective of what you read anywhere else, this football club will always stand together."
Meanwhile, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Moyes believed that his team have only got themselves to blame, after giving away two rather cheap goals.

Moyes highlighted that his side had withstood probing attacks from the Reds in the second half. However, he was disappointed to see the Toffees give away goals in a clumsy manner, after having done all the hard work.
