Liverpool have never played a match on 15th April since the tragic Hillsborough incident which occurred in 1989.
"We won't play on the 15th," Dalglish said. "The FA and UEFA have always been exemplary and very supportive, and that's great credit to them, so I don't think it's even suggesting that we might play on the 15th because we won't.”
The Reds boss insisted that the club has not played a match on the date for 23 years and has no intentions of breaking the tradition this year.
"We've never played on the 15th before, have we? So there you are - why would they change now?" he said.
The decision made from Anfied means that Chelsea will take on the winner of the quarterfinal match between Tottenham Hotspurs and Bolton Wanderers on Sunday, the 15th of April.
Instead, Liverpool will play their semi-final match one day before, on the 14thof April.
