However, the Reds boss Dalglish had a different say on both the decisions that went against his player, and lambasted the referee for his poor http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 on the field. He believed that a number of decisions went against the Reds during their last three games, and
backed his side for their spirited display against Villa.
“Suarez’s booking [for diving], the guy trod on him.” The Scott said.
“It’s a joke because you can imagine the headlines tomorrow, but the guy’s trod on him, he’s lucky he’s not broken his foot.”
The 61 year old bemoaned that the frequency of the decisions going against his side, will lead to talks of an agenda involved to sabotage the club’s progress.
“For some people, paranoia will set in and they’ll think there’s an agenda against a football club. We don’t see it that way.” He added.
Nevertheless, he praised his side for coming back strong into the match after conceding an early goal.
“The longer the game went, the stronger we got, the more determined we got. I think we deserved that [the equaliser].”
Meanwhile, the Aston Villa manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 McLeish credited his side for managing a draw against Liverpool, and backed the match official despite strong criticism from Dalglish.
He was of the opinion that there was no point in apportioning the blame of some of the incidents on the referee, while highlighting the fact that being a referee in not an easy job.
“It’s difficult for the referees to know what is deliberate and what’s not, it’s such a grey area.”
The Scott also eulogized some of the new players making their way in the side and was confident of their future in the club.
