Liverpool’s manager, Kenny Dalglish believes that his side needs to change their playing style in order to recover from their current slump in the Premier League.
The Reds, who are currently tottering around the seventh spotin the league, lost back to back matches against relegation threatened Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314 and Wigan Athletic. Dalglish’s side lost 3-2 to QPR after failing to hold on to a two goal lead and Wigan
handed the Reds their second home defeat, by edging the Merseyside team 2-1 at Anfield.
Dalglish suggested that he will be looking to change some tactics and believes that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 need to adopt a more direct style of play.
Although, he admitted his team’s poor showing against QPR and Wigan, he thought that a packed schedule of seven days, in which his side had to play three matches, was the reason behind the Reds capitulation.
"It depends how you depict it. We are not saying we were at our best [against QPR and Wigan] but there were circumstances, with three games in [seven] days.” He said.
The Scott also cast light on the fact that all is not lost for the Reds, as they are bidding to win an English domestic cup double this season. However, he admitted that his side’s abysmal performance in the league is an area of concern and suggested employing
a new strategy.
"We have got a problem winning games in the league. We have to educate ourselves and maybe we have to not play the lovely football that we have been. Maybe we have to change our philosophies a wee bit." He said.
The Reds have only managed to win a single match in their last seven league games. During this period, Dalglish’s side have lost five games, were held 0-0 by Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield and their lone victory came against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c39043.
The club’s home form in particular has been well below par, with the Reds managing just 5 wins in their 15 matches at Anfield.
However, the Scott blamed his side’s inconsistent performances to the injury problems that the Reds faced and reminded that he was without the services of some key players during the season.

"If we hadn't had as many injuries, we could have freshened it up a bit but we have not got that luxury at the moment and we have to get on with it," Dalglish said
