Adding further he said.
"I see it all there. Now he has got the credibility to take it. If he came in and didn’t do as well as they were supposed to, he's got the credibility to live with that. And he’s got the confidence and reputation, if he comes, to say its Sean’s team and
to live with that. And I do respect him as being one of the best there is in coaching."
During his stint in Dallas, Parcells turned around the franchise which was slumping and took them right back into the playoffs and his days at the Cowboys are acclaimed by fans and the franchise even though the Cowboys failed to win a single playoff game.
Jones also felt saddened for the New Orleans Saints fans as they team received severe punishments for running an illegal bounty scheme.
"I feel terrible for the fans of New Orleans,"
The Saints were fined $ 500,000 and had their second round draft picks taken away by the National Football League. In addition head coach Sean Payton was slapped with a one year suspension making it the first time that a coach has been so severely punished.
General manager Mickey Loomis too will be suspended for the first eight games of the new season for failing to stop the bounty program.
