Dallas Edge! A real marketing firm or a total scam!?!?!?

I have an interview with this company, "Dallas Edge", who work in the same office as "Bullet Marketing" that hire people looking to get into sales. The Dallas Edge deals with Disney, the NFL, and Time Warner. Are they for real or a total scam?

I've had personal experience with companies like this. This sounds like a subsidiary of DS/Max. They are what is called multi-level marketing. Stay away. You pay for the product and have to sell it to people who arent expecting you. It is the oldest door to door style selling. Scam. Scam. Stay away. Cult-like. Check consumerist.com and search for DS/Max. You shouldn't have to buy product to sell.

If the ads for work look anything like these ads in the link below, you know youre in for the same deal.

Well some of them are crazy door to door type sales deals but some of them are actually not terrible it just depends on the company.  I actually just set up an interveiw with them monday and had a long talk with a girl who works in the office. She was really nice and even took into consideration the length of my drive to the office and let me googlemaps the directions while she was on the phone with me.  that gave me a chance to ask tons of questions and it didnt sound all that bad.  Not too many calls, no door to door what so ever but you never know.  i actually had to keave a second interveiw for a scamy company like that EQM was the name.  two men in suits walked me out the to a car and started to undress revealing at&t polos, we got lost pulled over at chic fil a and promptly called my bf to pick me up.  He eventually got there and had to go out to take an mportant phone call and jumped in his car and speed off.  normally im not so unprofessional but they jipped me....so just be careful ask a ton of questions.have a good day and good luck with your job hunt.
