Dallas Mavericks, Chicago Bulls - NBA teams which can become strong by acquiring Josh Smith (Part-3)
Dallas Mavericks:
The Dallas Mavericks are the new National Basketball Association (NBA) champions while this particular win came as surprise to everyone in the league. Initially, they were not considered as they could win 2010-2011 NBA’s Larry
O’Brien trophy. But they played like a team and against all odds; they won the league title with great energy. The entire team was virtually unstoppable during all season, but in the post season, their performance declined with consistent pace. They had a
single belief and that was “hard-work” which worked for them with great fashion. The Mavericks not only played well but they also won the hearts of millions. It was the greatest triumph of their franchise history after some 31 years.
Although, the entire management of the Mavericks are still silent on their potential trades, but many inside sources have reported as Tyson Chandler could be on the move in the very next season. The lockout in the NBA is the only
hurdle of his trade as the league management has barred every team to trade their players during the lockout. On the other hand, no one knows as how long this lockout will prevail in the league. The league owners and the Players Association are still stubborn
on their attitudes and decisions on new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
If these reports and potential speculations are true about the Mavericks guard Tyson Chandler, the arrival of Josh Smith in the Mavericks roster is seems possible. The Mavericks certainly need a backup after Tyson Chandler and
Josh Smith is a viable and very good option for the Dallas Mavericks. He is quick and very aggressive player. His ability of scoring is phenomenal and his offensive ball play has always impressed many. The Hawks have a very good winning track whenever Josh
Smith has played for the Hawks and especially late in the game. The Atlanta Hawks have benefited from his presence on many occasions. His game at down the stretch, has proved wonderful for the Hawks and now his potential arrival in the Dallas Mavericks certainly
would make things more competitive for the Mavericks.
Chicago Bulls:
Last season, the Chicago Bulls certainly immerged as true title contenders, but late in the season could not impress much. They finished top in the Eastern Conference with record 62 wins and just 20 losses. Keeping in-view that
performance, and looking at their post seasons’ low performance; one could easily understand as they need some more experience player into their roster. The experience players are the only source in any team who guide their young players on every crucial moments
and act like true mentors.
Although, the Bulls have some very talented players but they need to include some more experience into their roster to excel in the league. The Bulls management also recognize this deficiency and planning to make some drastic changes
in their current strategy. The inclusion of Josh Smith into the Bulls roster seems little difficult but some league sources have speculated about potential trade of Carlos Boozer. If Boozer goes to some other team in the league, the Atlanta Hawks forward Josh
Smith is certainly a very good replacement for the Chicago Bulls.
Smith, who has spent almost seven years in the league, still can give his hundred percent with great energy. Smith, with an average of 16.5 points per game, has some great scoring abilities and will be extra beneficial for the
Bulls in near future.
