The Dallas Mavericks have tied the best of seven series with the Miami Heat at 2-2 and both teams are preparing hard in practice sessions to win the next important game which is going to be held at American Airlines Centre on Thursday.
The game four was a magnificent show by the entire Dallas team. Jason Terry and Nowitzki led the Mavericks to a tremendous win and now both teams are fixed in a deadlock. Heat head Coach Erik Spoelstra said, "From here on, it's
jump ball."
Rick Carlisle on the other hand appreciated and told his entire team to focus on the next game. He is seeing Nowitzki with great care as he knows how crucial Dirk Nowitzki’s role for the Dallas Mavericks.
Similarly the Heat head Coach Erik Spoelstra also focusing on his superstar LeBron James who did not perform well in that particular game where the Mavericks outclassed the Heat in every department. James only gathered eight points,
nine rebounds and seven assists against the Mavericks on Tuesday night.
The shrinking confidence of LeBron James truly felt by every Heat fan. In fact the Mavericks were the real match makers at that particular game where they guarded James so-well as he never found a way to score freely for his team.
However, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade performed but their performances were not good enough for their team. Bosh scored 24 points, one assists and six rebounds and Wade posted 32 points, six rebounds and two assists for the Heat.
On Wednesday James admitted his poor performance when he spoke to the media. James said, “I didn't do that last night, didn't play well. Those are the things that I pride myself on that hurt me the most. I'll just be hard on myself
and figure out a way to do it better the next game.
While people are discussing regarding LeBron James’ low performance many are talking about Dirk Nowitzki, who is certainly playing like a superman in this postseason. He has truly led the Mavericks into the NBA finals this season.
If anyone doubts on his performance, Nowitzki individual performance will speak for him. Currently he is averaging 28.0 points, 8.10 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game in the playoffs.
The Mavericks President Donnie Nelson also stated in the media regarding Nowitzki’s ball play and his strong calibre. Nelson also stated the fact as how Nowitzki is better than anyone else. Nelson said, “Really, are there two guys
that get more compared to Superman than Dwyane Wade and LeBron James? Think about it, and then our guy was the superstar that never really was a superstar because he was from Europe, or he was soft, or he couldn't win the big game.”
Dirk Nowitzki and his team now looking at the glory. They are just two game away and If they able to accomplished the dream of winning the NBA title that would be biggest achievement for them as they have never won the NBA Championship
in their franchise’s history.
