Alright. Ill start out with some rules. I Dont want spam about which team is better, each answer must be supported with reasons besides the fact that you like that team better. Also for all the Stars and Red Wings fans out there i want you to take yourself out of this and think maybe of the other series going on in the NHL right now. The Stars have won 2 straight, one being in "The Joe" where Turco got his first win today. They go back home and have a good chance at winning their excpecially since they are riding momentum at the moment. Hypothetically it goes to game 7. Who do you think would win and why. Also just to make it clear, lets say the stars return the favor and win 4-2 in the next game.

  1. Dallas have won the last 2 games so i think they could win at home as they have a lot of momentum, but I'm not sure they'll win game 7.

  2. the way turco played yesterday, making the saves and setting up both goals i think they can win

  3. Good Since they are at home Monday, Good Win by the way I thought Nobody would one in Detroit, Let's go get Deroit Again, Until We Reach 4 wins.

  4. i think the stars will win cause turco is playing badass he had 38 saves on 39 shots in game 5

and Osgood is not a hall of famer i don't care who u are if u say that ur an idiot get  u get 20 shots on him hes letting a couple through

    n Dallas  has the momentum

  5. after winning 3 games in a row the odds a better than when they were down 3 games to 0 given the fact that Turco just got his first NHL carrer win in the Joe Lewis arena he might have more confidince going back there now during game 7 but i think the fact that the Wings dont have Johan Fanzen right now but if they get him back for game 7 i think the stars chances go down a little but once it gets to game 7 it is anybodys game if the puck bounces the right/ wrong way ect for one team it could mean a win/loss for them so they both need to have stellar goal tending if either team wants to advance to the Cup finals it would also be kindof cool to see a great comeback against the wings lol

  6. With Momentum and a home game coming up I give them a 35%  chance of pulling off the epic comeback.

If the win on Monday I'll give them a 60%.

  7. Dallas will lose their next game vs. Detroit

  8. OK, Dallas has just won game 5 2-1 at the Joe. So it's going back to its home ice and familiar territory. Given that and the momentum it has gathered from  winning game 5, I will give a 50-50 chance for the Stars to win game 6 at home--you know any time that a team is holding the advantage will try to play this game like a game 7 and try to avoid the ultimate game 7.

I would say that even if Dallas manages to win game 6, it doesn't stand a chance to win game 7 at the Joe--which is a hard place for any team in NHL to win and the Star has just one in its last 11 tries in the playoffs--this last game which was also Turco's first ever. The odds doesn't look good--even if this is the 33rd year after the first 2 teams did it 33 years apart from now.

  9. The Stars have played over their heads since October... which is sometimes enough... but spotting the Red Wings the first 3 games is simply going to be too much to overcome.

Stars went up 3-1 against the Ducks, won it in 6.

Stars went 3-0 against the Sharks, won it in 6.

Stars went down 0-3 against the Wings, will likely lose it in 6.

  10. i guess they get better with every game eh?  i answered a few days ago about dallas and i said if they start plying better d in front of turco...and i mean actually marking a man one on one, they may have a chance to win a game..obviously that was in front of game #4.  if they can put a puck or two in and make detroit play from behind they may have a chance...BUT, we're not talking about calgary or the rangers or colorado...(no disrespect to those teams...)  this is detroit...they know exactly what they are doing.

  11. This is not about winning 4 straight...rather its about winning one shift at a time.

Both the Stars and the Red Wings have a shot of winning the series...but again,  it all comes down to the little stuff of winnign one shift at a time.

I refuse to pick either team...I know who I WANT to win...but I don't want to jinx anyone...it's all about the players and the focus on the ice...ONE SHIFT at a TIME!!!

  12. I think they can pull it off.............defend home ice and anything goes in a Game 7. Momentum is now on their side. When I say they can do it, it obviously does not mean they will, the odds are still against them. I'd put it at 25%.......mind you, when they were down 3-0.....it probably would have been more like 2%......down 3-1 and in Detroit I would have said maybe 10%.........so, there chances keep getting better, win the next one at home and I'd shoot it up to 45%.

  13. 1 in a million.  Detroit is a much more dominant team and has far better players.

  14. i think they have a chance they are going home for game 6. so you never know what can happen.

  15. 0%  No way will they win 4 straight against the wings.

  16. Well as of now, As much as i hate to say it, the stars have a much higher chance than anyone expected in the beginning of the series. Detroit is a team that is known for their reputation, that once they lose their lead, it all goes down hill from there. Now i'm not saying the Wings are done for, but as of right now, the Stars are completely Inflated, and have all the momentum in the world like a well oiled machine. The Wings however on the other hand, need to start playing with some Desperation if they want to win the series. It seemed easy enough to just win one more game, but dallas proved that concept wrong. I don't know as to what is going to happen, but for the Wings to win this series, they need to stop being so confident, and really work their butts off and keep their offensive line strong as well as their defense. And As for Dallas to keep going, well, They just gotta keep doing what their doing now, and keep Turco being solid (because he's really been their Key in this series). So the Chances are pretty big for Dallas.

  17. small but I hope the win
