Dallas area fisherman need help please?

I am thinking of moving to Dallas area and love to fish. I looked up

a bunch of stuff on line but I would like to get opinions. I fish a 15ft aluminum and love bass fishing. How is Dallas area fishing?

  1. Dallas isn't too far from Lake Fork... It is one of the best bass lakes in the country.


  2. There are  good areas all around Dallas plus there are a lot of lakes in the Dallas / Fort Worth area and along the outskirts.

    I lived in Texas most of my life up until now.You won't have any problems finding a place to fish. That includes from a boat or the bank.

  3. i really don't have alot of experience around dallas, but if you will drive about 1.5hrs north, you will hit lake texoma. it has some of the best striped bass and hybrid fishing in the country. it has also held the small mouth bass oklahoma record numerous times and not to mention 121 lb blue cat world record that was just broke by the mississippi.
