  1. Ok some random stuff that works for me:

Definitely rest your vocal chords as much as possible. When you shout a lot, callouses actually form on them and if they get too bad, your singing voice will have a raspy quality to it.

Drink lots of water. I know people say to drink hot tea and honey, but the caffeine in tea actually dehydrates you, which leaves your throat that much more dry. I do, however suggest the honey part of that. Try eating a spoonful before you go to sleep.

Resting your body is also really good. When your body is tired, so is your throat.

If your throat is not actually SORE, you're actually gonna have to wait it out for a bit. It's annoying, I know, but it's much better for your voice than trying to use medicine to fix what's not really broken.

If it is sore, you should definitely try seeing a doctor. Though I doubt it is if you haven't already.

  2. drink some hot tea with honey, its good for coating the throat.try to talk as little as possible.

    get better.

  3. ha thats not good.. drink warm tea with honey and try not to talk as much. and if you think you're getting sick, like a cold or something, definately take some airborne.. it really helps prevent it. and uhh definately keep the screaming to a minimum..ha and i know you have an audition coming up, but singing on a damaged voice would make it wayy worse.. so if your going to practice just run through the piece(s) maybe every few days.. and good luck!

  4. take airborne.  its at walmart - will clear up in less than 24 hours
