Damien Comolli claims Liverpool do not need further additions to the squad – EPL News
Liverpool’s director of football, Damien Comolli, has insisted that the Reds current squad is complete and has ruled out any new signings despite the departure of highly-rated midfielder, Raul Meireles, to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 on the deadline day of the recently concluded
summer transfer window.  
Since Fenway Sports Group took over Liverpool in October 2010 and Kenny Dalglish took charge in January 2011, the Reds have made wholesome changes to their squad and have been very active in the last two transfer windows.
In the past eight months, the Merseyside club has seen the arrival of nine new players including the likes of Luis Suarez, Andy Carroll, Stewart Downing and Charlie Adam. Liverpool owners have spent over £100 million to land new players, and the Reds director
of football has hailed the full support shown by the Fenway Sports Group.
Comolli has expressed his satisfaction over Liverpool’s business in the recent transfer windows and has asserted that the club have really worked hard to get their desired targets in order to increase the depth and quality of the squad. The Frenchman is
happy with the wholesome changes in the Reds dressing room and believes that it is now time for the squad to gel.
"We are very pleased with what we've done during this window and the previous one as well. For me, it's like a big window from January until August 31, we changed the team and changed the squad, so this is the perfect time to reflect.” Comolli told the reporters.

club in the closing stages of the window.
However, Comolli has ruled out any new arrivals as he believes that the squad is complete and has enough depth to fight for a Champions League berth this season. 
"To be honest I would really struggle to say we need something there or something there because I think we have such a complete squad at the moment,” the Frenchman added.
Comolli has revealed that the current squad will be given added time to forge a chemistry and has insisted that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 will make new signings if required.
