profile players from around the globe.
Liverpool won their first piece of silverware against Cardiff by securing the Carling Cup trophy and bringing it back to Anfield. The Reds have found it hard to achieve success in the past six years with all the ownership turmoil
and their failure to make it to the UEFA Champions League but things are changing now at the Merseyside club due to Kenny Dalglish’s calming influence.

With Liverpool’s “project” maturing at Anfield, Comolli said in his latest interview, "We already know that there are big players who want to join us next summer because they believe in the project. Everybody in Europe knows what
Liverpool football club are trying to do. Obviously the fact that we're back playing in Europe and we've won the trophy, it's all positive things.”
He added, "There's a very positive vibe around the club around Europe. A lot players I know are very interested about joining the project because it's a very interesting project." Liverpool will hope that they can add some quality
to their squad in the summer transfer window and also get the best out of their current crop of players for the remainder of the season to end it on a high.
