The Fulham winger claims that he will return to the Irish football after his stint in the Premier League ends and might even drop down levels to continue his career for as long as he can.
At Craven Cottage, there are a few talented players that make the squad for a top a Premiership side and undoubtedly, one of them is Damien Duff.

However his time at Stamford Bridge was marred by injuries and with the arrival of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521, Duff was cast aside and swooned as the club rose to prominence under the tutelage of Jose Mourinho.
Keen to make a bigger impact in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, he made the switch from London to Newcastle, signing for the Magpies in 2006. Despite his age, he become a fan favourite at St. James’ Park and refused to leave, although he was constantly linked with a move.
However Newcastle United’s relegation in 2009 ended his dreams of playing on Tyneside and he returned to London again, this time signing for Fulham, where he reached the pinnacle of European football in the shape of the UEFA Europa League finale.
Though his age restricts him in playing like he used to, Duff has voiced his concern and claims that he will not retire until he is forced out of the game.
"I am going to play football until I drop. Andy said he didn't miss it. But I am the polar opposite. Football is what I do and I have no interest in anything else. I would end up pottering around the house.”
"There has been a lot of speculation about whether I will continue to play for Ireland after the Euros.  At the moment, I want to spend time with my family. My son, Woody, was born 14 months ago and my wife is due again in September."
He also added that he was planning to visit Irish troops in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lebanon-c2939 to boost their morale after his brother in the armed forces suggested it.
"I said 'yes' straight away and I am really excited about meeting them," he added.
With the Premier League season only a month or so away, Duff will report to pre-season training in the near future and will be hoping to turn around Fulham’s fortunes with Martin Jol at the helm.
