d**n, why is the Rays' road record so bad? 6th in MLB! They're 32-32. :(?

That's .500! I know it's better than most teams but it's not good enough for me. They're gunna fall out of the playoffs with that road record!

Angels are 40-25.

Phillies are 36-33.

Cubs are 34-31.

Brewers are 39-32.

Cards are 37-32.

They're in 6th. :(

Don't listen to mitchman...he's and idiot. In all sports...teams should have a better home record than a road record. The reason why they are doing so bad on the road is because it's the road.

.500 is not a bad road record at all. Like you said, only 5 teams have a road record above 500. Winning half of your away games is pretty good.

Most importantly they are second in the AL to the juggernaut Angels who simply aren't gonna give away games that they lead with K-Rod as their closer.

If you are a Rays fan, I'd just be thrilled with the fact that they are a mortal lock for the playoffs.  Anywhere they get should be considered icing on the cake!

They may not have a dominant road record, but they're still leading the AL East.

Their road record doesn't really matter if they're getting it done at home.

Well the Angels home record is 7th best in MLB and I think they're in good shape.

And besides who's gonna knock the Rays out of the playoffs.  The Red Sox who have the 10th best road record at 34-38?

With the exception of the Angels no team really has a superb road record.  And since the Rays may get home field advantage throughout the playoffs, provided they finish with a better record than LAA, it may not matter.

Only one of the teams above are in the AL and that's the Angels which the Rays have a 6-3 record against the Angels this year. Anyway 6th isn't bad and Mitchman is six months behind.
