I have been trying to enlist and the doc(meeps doc) cleared me for the physical part and said I need my Counseling papers from a long time ago, when she gets them how long should it take to be able to enlist and get out of here . Need help,suggestions, advice, anything

  1. Keep in touch with your recruiter. He wants to get you in just as bad as you want to get it. He will keep the pressure on.


  2. If your counseling was paid for by insurance, your insurance carrier should be able to tell you who they paid. That way you can get the records from that provider. However, if the counseling constituted outpatient treatment for a mental health problem and that exceeded six months in length, you can't join since it is disqualifying. The source below is the medical standard.  

  3. First it is MEPS.  Next you are going to need a waiver for your stuff so you could be waiting up to a year depending on what is in your record.  There is no guarantee you are going anywhere and it seems you have a little attitude, that will not help you go anywhere.  The military is not guaranteed employment for everyone and is actually very selective so we don't have to send people home and waste tax payer money for people that have pre-existing conditions as it seems you do.  Relax and if you were meant to be in the military it will happen.
