Hello, I replaced my battery 07/28/2006 and this morning, my battery was completely dead. It was so dead that it would only work the time I would get it jumped and would need it done again when I was to turn it back on. Anyway, I go a replacement and the last time that the battery went bad in it, coincidentally, the damper door from the a/c stopped working. I have a 99 Buick Century and the exact same thing happened to me the last time when the battery died. I don't use the dual a/c at all and don't give a l**k about it. Is it an easy process to have a mechanic unify (?) the system so that the a/c blows cold air without the dual part of the controllers working? The passenger gets to ride with the cold air, i get hot air and my left vent get SLIGHTLY cooler air, please help!????

  1. he could route the vacuum hose to the drivers side to actuate it and using a splitter both would work techniclly. unless the actuater itsself went bad but hard to imagine.

  2. Sam, have someone at Auto zone record and clear all the DTC's from this car. Start there.... TW
