Dan Hardy: "I don't see how Carlos Condit can win."

Dan "The Outlaw" Hardy is one of the fighters in the UFC that is entertaining both inside and outside the cage. Even though he suffered a landslide UD loss from the hands of Georges St-Pierre,
he still remains a character with tremendous confidence in fighting skills. He is also very vocal about his next fight against "The natural-born killer" Carlos Condit this coming UFC 120 at the O2 Arena in London, England. Love him or hate him, Hardy has the
gift of gab and definitely knows how to do pre-fight talks.

Hardy remains unimpressed with Condit. The British fighter believes that his next opponent simply does not have the physical capabilities and technical skill to defeat him. Hardy admits that
he was handily beaten by St-Pierre but is proud of the fact that the welterweight champion was not able to finish him. He also considers Condit to be far inferior, in comparison to him and St-Pierre, in many aspects of MMA and there is no scenario in the fight
that he can see Condit winning.

"Condit [does not have] the athleticism or the wrestling to do what St. Pierre did to me. I think it's safe to say that St. Pierre also has better Jiu-Jitsu as well. Although he was able
to take me down, and he was able to control me for the most part of the fight, he wasn't able to submit me," Hardy said.

"If you take Condit into account, he [does not have] the strength or the wrestling to take me down, and if it does get to the ground he [does not have] the ability to submit me either. I
don't see what his options are in the fight."

Being proud of his toughness and ability to finish fights standing up, Hardy also had this to say: "He certainly doesn't want to stand and trade with me because if he hits me I'll smile at
him and if I hit him he's going to hit the deck. It's just a rough night for him. I don't see how he can win."

Condit is a stable mate of St-Pierre under the Greg Jackson camp. Jackson is widely known for devising strategies and it can be said that he already has "The Outlaw" figured out. Nevertheless,
Hardy is not worried because he believes that Jackson’s system will not benefit Condit in his upcoming fight.

Condit is a tenacious fighter. He had shown a lot of heart particularly in his last fight against Rory Macdonald. It was a fight that he would have lost if it was not for his drive and tenacity.
Hardy respects Condit’s fighting spirit but deeply considers that Jackson’s "playing-it-safe" game plan will just ruin Condit’s best chances of winning the fight.

"Carlos is the kind of guy that does like to push the pace, he likes to work for a finish, and it's his tenacity that gets him into a lot of the fights," Hardy said. "If working with Greg
Jackson, he's put a game plan together and he no longer has that tenacity, then I don't really know what else he's got. He's not technical or powerful enough to win the fight in any other way."

Hardy believes that this match will be short one. He has tremendous confidence in his power to knock Condit out but he will also look for a submission win if the opportunity presents itself.

"I'm thinking early second round knock-out. I'm going to wear him down in the first round, and beat him up. At the start of the second round, I'm going to either catch him with a shot and
he's going to be knocked unconscious or he'll go to the floor and I'm going to choke him out."

The Outlaw can only see himself emerge as the winner without reaching the final bell.
