Dan Petrescu believes Kuban Krasnodar were fortunate to seal a win against Terek Grozny
Kuban Krasnodar won 2-1 against Terek Grozny in their latest Russian Premier League encounter at Akhmad Arena. The Kazaki head coach, Dan Petrescu, has revealed that Kuban were fortunate to claim three points against the Chechens in a hard-fought match.
Petrescu admitted that they played poorly in the first half of the match but managed to improve in the second period of the game. The Romanian coach expressed his delight to have completed the double against the Nohchi. Kuban previously defeated Terek 2-1
at home.

Petrescu revealed that the team were in desperate need of a victory after their defeat against Lokomotiv Moscow. Kuban Lost 1-0 against the Parovozy in a match that saw ten bookings for both sides.
The Russian First Division winning coach revealed that Kuban were lucky enough to claim a win this time but insisted that they need to work very hard to claim three points in the upcoming league tie against the big-spending Anzhi Makhachkala.
