Shcherbachenko has pleaded the Russian Football Union to take the matter seriously after finding Kuban Krasnodar’s manager in the locker room despite 6-match ban
Mordovia Saransk head coach, Shcherbachenko Fyodor, has urged the Russian Football Union to take disciplinary action against Kuban Krasnodar’s manager, Dan Petrescu, after finding him in the locker room despite
being handed a 6-match ban.
According to the third paragraph of the disciplinary rules “Article seventeen”, disqualified persons are neither allowed in the locker rooms nor on the bench.
The Romanian tactician has been serving a ban after pushing a referee in Kuban’s 1-1 draw against Dynamo Moscow in May. Fyodor revealed that he was saddened to see his compatriot in the locker room, violating the rules, despite
the ban.
“When we went on the field, I saw Petrescu, who was standing at the entrance to the locker room for his team. His players came out, and he went inside. It is a well-known rule that requires a league to comply with the suspended
coach.”
“In the first round I was in the same position as Petrescu. I was forbidden to visit the stadium areas. So, I decided not to appear. I know that the penalties for violations can be severe. Rules are for everybody and we need to
respect that.”
Petrescu’s punishment may be increased if it is proved that he really was in the locker room at half-time during the Russian Premier League tie between Mordovia and the Yellow-Greens at Stadion Kuban on Friday.
Kuban managed to win the aforementioned tie 1-0 at home, against Mordovia- who have recently been promoted from the Russian First Division, after scoring a late goal in the closely contested match.
Commenting on the outcome of the match, Fyodor has lamented the painful defeat. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Tom-Tomsk-c39228 assistant manager admitted that they failed to claim points against an organized opposition.
The Cossacks suffered another defeat after losing the opening league game 2-3 against Lokomotiv Moscow at Start stadium. Fyodor has urged his side to alter the situation and assured the fans of winning the upcoming match against
