The Romanian tactician believes that his side can meet fans expectations during the ongoing Russian Premier League and UEFA Europa League campaign after making a few signing this summer
Dynamo Moscow recorded their first win of the ongoing Russian Premier League campaign against Lokomotiv Moscow at Stadion Lokomotiv (Moscow) on Saturday after witnessing a nightmare start to the Russian championship.
However, their latest win has not helped them to climb up the league table. As things stand, they are at the bottom spot on the league table.
The Moscow-based club failed to meet fans expectations after a series of disappointing league defeats against Volga Novgorod, Zenit St. Petersburg, Spartak Moscow, Rubin Kazan and Terek Grozny prior to their latest win against
the Lokhi this season.
The Louders head coach, Dan Petrescu, has admitted that he has hailed the latest win against the Railroaders, indicating that the win will give his side a lot of confidence before they play the UEFA Europa League play-off round
return leg against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfB-Stuttgart-c40879 on Tuesday.
The Romanian tactician, who joined the Russian outfit after resigning from Kuban Krasnodar earlier this month, believes that a lot of hard work needs to be done as the Dinamiki are facing a torrid time.
“The club is experiencing a lot of problems. If you look at the match against Lokomotiv, the players ran, fought and played well but in the first-leg game against Stuttgart, it was evident that the opponent looked better than us
from a physical point of view.” The Romanian Cup winner was quoted as saying.
Though Petrescu remained tight-lipped over telling the reason behind the intriguing problems in the team, he was quick to admit that certain players are not taking full responsibility.
“We have a surplus of performers in the midfield position, while we are lacking wingers. Therefore, it would be great to sign two or three newcomers until the end of the transfer window. However, I'm not saying that I want to get
rid of someone.” He concluded.
Petrescu insisted that the Russian outfit are looking to sign a striker after struggling to score goals this season.
