Dana White: UFC pay-per-views are up to the mark – UFC News
Dana White, President Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), in a recent media interaction, brushed off the image that he and his bout-maker Joe Silva are organising and scheduling bouts that are not fulfilling the UFC fans demands and are not up to the mark.
Dana while sharing his thoughts commented that he and his team mates put their utmost efforts in arranging a great show for the mixed martial art fanatics adding that the Rashad Evans and Phil Davis bout received mixed reviews and was in general liked by
most.
The brilliant minded UFC president was promoting his upcoming UFC on FOX 3 pay-per-view and explained in detail as to how things go on and what methodology is used in arranging a bout. Dana was of the view that critics’ allegations to the fact that the last
UFC on FOX 2 special edition was bogus is totally false adding that the bouts are not predicted and the results are spontaneous and totally depends on as to how the brawlers are fighting.
During the press conference, Dana while taking the upcoming bouts as an example, remarked that it is possible that Nate Diaz and Jim Miller, who will take on each other in UFC on FOX 3, might not perform well adding that both men are prolific belligerents
with equal power to not only knockout the opponent but also make them submit.
White was of the view that it is probable that either Nick or Jim move forward to grab an early knockout win than how come is it possible that he and Joe Silva are to be condemned for not putting up a great show.
Dana moved on and iterated that Rousimar Palhares and Alan Belcher both rely heavily on totally opposite styles adding that Belcher is a straight forward player who evades ground games whereas on the other hand, Palhares loves to rip his opponents legs apart
by using his submission tactics.
Dana commented, “You never know, when you put enough good guys on a card, you're bound to get great fights. This fight here, either he’s (Belcher) going to keep it standing and try not to go to the ground, he (Palhares) is going to try and go to the ground
and rip his legs off. These two (Nate Diaz vs. Jim Miller), if this fight sucks, I don't know what to tell you man.”
White while further explaining the scenario said that the upcoming Fox card is an epic one since he believes in it as all the belligerents are famous for their performance and they have hefty resume filled with lots of quality wins.
UFC on FOX 3 will be televised live on Fox channel on May 5, 2012 and the octagon will be stretched at IZOD Center situated in East Rutherford, New Jersey, United States.
