Easy Led,
Handsome Harry,
Kapricorne,
Knockalongi,
Low Gales,
Midnight Choice,
Mystic Appeal,
No Reception,

Danandy is a strong competitor and has been performing consistently well. He has secured victories in his last two races. The 5-year-old gelding is the son of Cloudings, out of Tower Princess.
He succeeded on 4th December, 2011, in the Commercial Vehicle Components LTD 4YO Maiden, at Ballindenisk, where he defeated Yukon Delta.
He also triumphed in his seasonal debut, in the Digibet.com Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race, at Fontwell, on 12th January, 2012.
Danandy’s trainer, Philip Hobbs, is hoping that he will keep up his performance and hopefully this race will earn him a hat-trick.
Mystic Appeal, trained by Jeremy Scott, is attracting bets in the market. This is solely because of the 6-year-old’s performance in his seasonal debut.
The son of Alderbrook, out of Piseog, finished as a runner-up in the Betvictor.com Maiden Hurdle, held at Hereford, on 25th January, 2012. He was defeated by Sainglend.
Knockalongi is in outstanding form, and he may be able to claim victory. This will be the 6-year-old gelding’s first race in 2012.
He finished in 2nd place to Mush Mir, on 7th November, 2011, in the Racingprofits.net Email Selection Service Novices’ Hurdle, at Southwell.
On 26th November, 2011, he was defeated by Lovcen, in the British Stallion Studs E.B.F “National Hunt” Novices’ Hurdle, which was held at Towcester.
Knockalongi’s trainer, Oliver Sherwood, and his owner, The St. Joseph Partnership, are hoping that the son of Fair Mix, out of Understudy, will be able to break out of his consistency and finish as the winner in this race.
Easy Led, Handsome Harry, Kapricorne, Low Gales, Midnight Choice, No Reception, Top Dancer, Trackmate, and
Ugo are the weaker competitors compared to the others. Their performances are not have not been impressive.
For them to make a place for themselves in the placed positions in this race, they will have to race with all their might.
These competitors have failed to finish in the first three positions in their last two races, with the exception of Handsome Harry.
The son of Broadway Flyer, out of Whistful Suzie, finished as a runner-up in the Douglas Family “National Hunt” Maiden Hurdle, at Uttoxeter, on 16th December, 2011, where he was beaten by Real Milan.
According to the odds, Danandy and Mystic Appeal are likely to lead the race. They have the support of bookies and punters.
The second place may be secured by Barenger or Knockalongi.
Then contender for third place is Handsome Harry.
