Dance Appreciation? I need help understanding?

I'm an undergraduate and still in highschool and I recently signed up for DANCE APPRECIATION at a local community college. I was wondering what you do in Dance Appreciation and if I will be getting P.E credits for it because I am doing the class to do it.

You should check with the college for specifics, however I believe this is really a classroom class, not a physical activity.  I believe you will learn about different dance styles, where they originated, history of dance, perhaps story lines of classical dances, etc.  If you like dance, you'll probably love the class, but I doubt you'll get PE credits for it.
