Dance Audition!!! Please Help!!!?

Question

I have a dance audition in a week and it isn't for school or anything! It's a professional dance audition for a movie! What should I wear? And I need some dance songs to dance to. I'll even take cheerleading songs!

i know a song that is kind of cheer leading.it gos like this:brick wall water fall girl you thing youve got it all but you dont and i do so boom with that attitude resse peices cocoa puff ive got some thing you cant touch resse peices cocoa puff mess with me and ill mess you up.i also know a song that goes like this:bang bang chew chew train let me see do that thing i cant why not i cant why not because my back is achen and my bra to tite and my bodie shaken to the left to the right and my eyes are rollin down beacon hill street and the  boys are dancin  to the funky hill beat to the front to the back to the side to the side  i said front back side to side let me see that butterfly 5 6 7 8 let me see that bodie shake boom boom shake boom boom shake

where something like sweat pants and a comfortable shirt just make sure u r comfortable. Now different genres have different. A good but fast hip hop song is Low. Good Luck

well you probably should have a dance that has a lot of character in it

wear a souldjier outfit and do a mix with songs like toy souljier by britney spears and shot you down buy audio bullies (not sure of the spelling) shot you down is a bit slow for the intro but it gets a lot better

Maybe try to find a costume that fits the part that you’re auditioning for? Or maybe just your normal dance clothes, but where something that is not too distracting or hides too much of your body.

*The judges will want to see how you move your body, so don't hide it behind too much costume*

Songs? I don't really know, try to find a song that brings out your personality (all dance audition judges love personality!) but also have a song that shows off your dance ability. Maybe go for a more unpopular song, because a popular one might be used by another person and at an audition you'll want to stand or make a statement.

Also, think about the part you’re auditioning for again, try some quick research of different songs that suit the movie/part.

Other then that, just relax, try your best and have fun! Show the judges you have a passion flame for what you do (dance) and that'll remember you. =)
