  1. My daughter is at a ballet academy. Even there, everyone dances regardless of weight.

A teacher may tell a student to loose weight IF Asked for her opinion on it. . You will not be a professional or in a company being fat.

But just to take classes, no one would be turned away or told to loose weight.

Ask your doctor about your weight. Let him/her be honest with you.

    Eat healthy! Don't diet.

  2. First weigh yourself. If you are in the range for your weight for your age, you're okay. If your dance instuctor still keeps telling you that you are too fat; Just eat healthier. Dance instuctors feels as though they're students need to be extremely skinny to be sucessful. Another alternative is to suck in your stomach.

  3. You might want to find a different instructor if you are being pressured to lose weight to an unhealthy point.  Your instructor should be paying more attention to how well you execute your movements, rather than how much you weigh.

  4. i would recommend that you get another instructer                     if she tells you your fat thats mean and dont lose any more weight if you can dance it dosnt matter somebody died becuz of to much weight lost god loves you the way you are

  5. You did not mention your age, height, or weight, so we've got no frame of reference for advice.......Unless you are considering dance as a career, don't worry about your weight.  Concentrate on your dance technique and eat a balanced diet. Things will work out the way they are supposed to and you will remain healthy.  IMO Your dance instructor is WAY out of line with comments about your weight.
