I want to lose some weight because I'm not totally happy with the way i look when I'm performing. What are some things that I could do to lose weight. I dance a lot but I want something that will help me lose weight fast..

  1. Hi Yeah I have the same problem as you, and I know that because I dance quite a lot, I am tired and conserve energy and time for studying so I would really like to know too how to loose weight especially since my russian ballet teacher tols me I was fat.


  2. excersise a lot. do push ups crunches and run every nite. eat healthy. thats really all.

  3. I find that to lose weight, you have to figure out what makes you gain it:

    Is it the temptations around you?-Tell your parents to lock it up or even better don't buy the cookies and chips

    Is it stress eating or eating because you are bored?- Make a conscience descision that when you get the urge that you will grab a carrot, apple or water

    Do you get enough cardio exercise?- Dance is good exercise, but most dancers need more cardio. Try jumping rope, swimming, running, or riding a bike.

    There are, of course other weight gain reasons. Deciding the root of your problems is the first step.

    Other tips:

    1. Drink LOTS of H2O

    2. Eat Breakfast

    3. Don't think about dieting because then you will have food on your mind making you hungry

    4. Don't eat after 7

    5. No soft drinks or fast food

    6. Write what you eat down. You may be surprised

    I am sure that you aren't as bad as you think. Losing weight is annoying, but you can do it. Keep up the good work!
