Dance For Georgie keen to complete hat-trick
Since her last start of August 10, the Ben Haslam trained chestnut filly, Dance For Georgie, has been going through gruelling training sessions to refine her form. Today is the time for her to prove her skills by winning the TurfTV Handicap that will go
down at Thirsk racecourse after a few hours.
The three-year-old novice filly has to run over 1 mile with an objective to complete her maiden hat-trick that is due following her two back-to-back triumphs at Musselburgh and Brighton.
In the line-up of a dozen of runners, who are set to sprint on the soft ground, Dance For Georgie seems to be the strongest and the most enthusiastic.
The young filly finished as the runner-up in the H Malone Handicap at Newcastle on June 1. She went on to break her maiden with the title of Wilkinson & Associates Handicap that was held on August 3 at Musselburgh. The best thing was that she emphatically
defeated her hot favourite rival Miss Ella Jade.
Deriving immense confidence from this triumph, the daughter of Motivator out of Chetwynd grabbed a tremendous triumph in the very next race named as Amplicon Directors' Handicap. This time, she was the 9-4 favourite as the punters had come to realize the
class of the filly.
Today again, Dance For Georgie is likely to be the best-priced candidate. Running under Declan Cannon, she will definitely replicate the way she ran last. Thus, her victory seems to be imminent.
The only rival, who can challenge her, is Ingleby Angel who picked up a lot of momentum by winning the 16-runner event of Follow RedcarRacing On Facebook & Twitter Handicap that took place at Redcar on August 25. This fresh form will let a great hand to
the David O'Meara trained bay and brown gelding in today’s marathon.
Thus, the veteran horse will attempt to impede Dance For Georgie who needs to run with a cautious and calculated approach. The rivalry between these two mighty runners will make the contest greatly entertaining and exciting for the spectators. Afterall,
the success will go to Dance For Georgie. Good luck to the filly.
