i'm auditioning for my high school show choir, it's very rare for a sophomore to make it (we have a freshman showchoir which i was in, and this one is for 10-12.) i was one of the better singers in my grade, and i could move easily, but i can't really dance. i'm not horrible, but i can't really do it. for this part of the audition, what should i wear, stand, etc... i have dance shoes and i have a slim figure, 5'3''.

  1. The most important thing to wear when dancing is something you are able to move in. You can wear sweat pants but its better to wear like tights and hot pants with either a leotard or formfitting tank top or shirt. As long as you can move freely in whatever you are wearing and aren't uncomfortable you should be fine.

  2. i would wear dance pants (they are like yoga pants but long) i wear them to dance class all the time. baggy sweats also work wel you shouldnt wear anything like jeans that are really tight and not moveable. if its more ballet/jazz dancing then wear a leotard if you want even if you wear it with sweatpants its what i do. good luck! i hope i helped

  3. i usually wear bodytights with shorts over them (shows off a cute side of your figure, make all the guys stare =] hahaaa)

and depending on how im feeling, i'll either wear layered tanks (so im not all over the place) or a big shirt, usually from a competition or something

    good luck!

  4. Wear sweat pants and a vest top--- something you can move easily in

Don't wear a leotard or tights and hot pants Its way to formal for a school show
