Dance class advice?

I'm a dancer and whenever I take class these group of girls talk in class while the teacher is talking. It's soo annoying. I'm trying to learn and there standing right in front of me and babbling away. I feel like telling them to shut the **** up. but thats just me. what should i do?

talk to your teacher about it after class. say that you're really trying to pay attention and usually get distracted when people talk in class. don't say any specific names though.

my dance teacher is strict so she tells them to either pay attention or leave. or she gives them a sharp sh!

I would go to the teacher first after class and ask him or her if he or she could please confront the girls when they begin speaking again.  I would say this:

"Excuse me, Mr./Ms. _______, do you have a minute?  I noticed that ______ and ______ talk a lot in class, and it disrupts me as a dancer trying to improve.  I want to be in a more professional environment that doesn't include talking.  Is it possible for you to say something to them next time they are talking?"

If that doesn't help, confront the girls directly.  Go to them and say something like:

"Hey guys, I know dance class is cool and everything, and you guys are friends, but can we try to be a little more professional?  I'm trying to listen to Mr./Ms. ________, and it's kind of hard when I hear you guys talking.  Do you think you could save the conversation until after class?"

I know it's awkward and you don't want to make them mad at you, but it's the best way to get what you want.  If it's so bad that you confront them, you need to ask yourself: would you rather not improve in dance, or have the girls be your best bud?  Besides, chances are that they'll take you more seriously than if you had let it pass.  If it doesn't help, don't stress the matter in class.  Wait about a week and then confront them again.  It's awkward, but you want to be taken seriously and grow as a dancer.  It will benefit you in the long run.

I would first go up to the girls and tell them...

That they are not the only people in the class!! Other people are trying to learn!! They might no the dance really good but you dont and you would like to learn, so could they please stop talking!

If they keep talking after you have already asked them to stop then i would go to the teacher and tell him/her how you feel!!

Tell him/her that you really like the class but is starting to become hard for you because ever time the girls talk you cant hear the directions, steps or whatever it is that the teacher is saying at the time!! Also tell the teacher that you would really like it if he/she could tell them to please be quite!!

that happens alot in my dance class. i tune them out and pay attention to the teacher cause when it comes to doing, the choreography or making the correction, u will look awesome cause u knew what to do and they are the ones that will waste ten minutes cause the teacher has to reteach them(and not to mention the teacher ends up liking u better lol )
