Okay well I am in a really low-budget ballet company that I've enjoyed a lot, exept my bff is in this hip-hop/modern/jazz company that I really want to audition for, and I want to do both companies, but my mom says I can only do one company. I really don't know what to do: stay in this company and just take jazz lessons on the side, or do my friends company and take ballet lessons on the side. The auditions for my friend's company are this sunday, so I need answers ay-sap! please help!!!!!!!

  1. well if you can only do one do the jazz one and work hard on ballet lessons because ballet helps you with every type of dance!

  2. Do what your heart wants. Don't think about whether you might hurt someones feelings because they're not going to decide your future, you are. So do it now, do what you love.

I understand you love the ballet company but if you think this other company will open more doors and be a better experience then go for it.

I wouldn't quit the ballet company until you audition for the jazz one and know you made it just to be safe.

but ya one moto i enjoy is: "GO BIG OR GO HOME!"

    :) good luck

  3. What do you love to do more? You joined the ballet co. instead of the hip-hop one? does that mean ballet is more your thing? And by the way, ballet to hip-hop is a massive change! I personally would stick with the ballet and do the jazz lessons on the side.
