  1. first of all, take a pre pointe class. within one year, you should be on pointe but it depends on your age. pointe is pretty tough on your ankles and if you arent ready, you can get hurt. competition teams usually have auditions. when you audition, have lots of energy and attitude. you sound like a good dancer by the classes you are taking. attitude is everything when it comes to competition. if you catch their eye, you got it. put all your effort into it and try your hardest. dont forget to smile! good luck and have fun!

  2. work really hard stretch a lot and have fun! Good luck and don't be afraid to add character to your dancing. After some time you will build enough muscle to go on pointe. Have fun!

  3. It sounds like you've got all the thigns you ned to be on a competition team. Go pick a good one where they also offer pointe since you want that. You should make it, considering if your good or not, but also competition team is a HUGE commitment. And its very god that even if you want to become a pointe dancer that your taking those other classes, because diversity is key. Are you taking pointe though? because if not you should star if you are age 12 or 13 and after talking to your ballet teacher asking her if she thinks you ready. But basically, if you try hard enough, you can get far in any type of dance you want.

    Good Luck!

  4. if you want to go on pointe, streagthen those legs!
