So my question is:

In your opinion what kind of a dance class would be good\fun to take as a couple, something were he might not seem overwhelm, like good for a beginner.

I want to bring him to a walk in class, or like a seminar so that if he really hates it were not locked in to taking classes.

I would really prefer it be something he can get into so that we can dance together, so what style would you recommend?

  1. my uncle and auntie go to dancing called 'Ceroc Dancing '

my uncle had never been to a proper dance class before and they both have been doing it for a month now. they really enjoy it. its walk in so if he hates it , its fine if you never go back. its in partners but its more off a freestyle jive class. heres a good website below that will tell you about it.

    i hope this helps

  2. Ballroom of course!!!!  It is becoming a new dance craze (thanks to Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You can Dance) and lots of beginner classes are available at lots of dance studios.  This is (I really think) the best for you because:

    1. You two can dance as a couple

    2. There are plenty of beginner classes

    3. A lot of studios have like trial classes where you just try it out and don't have to come back if you hate it (usually they're free too)

Good luck and have fun dancing!
