how do i increase my flexibility in the back of my leg to get a straighter needle?

what are some good stretches?

and what are some things u should keep in mind to make your needle look better?

  1. you just need to do the splits a ton--middle and side.  And if you already have those really good then stretch in a ponche or needle (if thats what you call it) every day as far as you can.  It will take a while, but you'll get it eventually.


  2. What the heck is a needle...? Well, to increase your flexibility in the back of your legs, do splits...ESPECIALLY middle splits. that will stretch your thighs. your individual leg splits will help too, but middle splits help stretch  the most...sorry I couldn't be more helpful!

    *edit* Oh...If you face away from a wall that ends like 6 inches above your hips, put your leg up onto it. (kinda like an arabesque position.) THen straighten your back. once you get your back straight then you can scootch closer to the wall. once you're all the way up against the wall, with your back straight, your ponches and needles should be loads easier. we do this in my dance class to work on our ponches and arabesques. If i were you I would concentrate on getting your back leg (the one that goes up...) straight. sorry, i was kinda confused about the name...ive never heard it called that b4! I hope this works for you!
