Dance stretches?

What are some good stretches that would work my upper body more?

And I also have to learn how to do a cartwheel.Any good advice on how to do one?

  1. depends on how flexible you already are...

    start with the basics. you should be able to have your legs out in front of you and easily wrap your hands around your feet. ease yourself into splits ( be really careful! ) and do a straddle up against a wall. im sure youve seen butterfly before but its much better for your muscles if you keep your legs in the same position and lay on your back. crossing your legs and stretching forward is good for your rotators and stretching your quads as often as possible is really important. just grab your foot and bend it so that its touching your butt or coming close.

    that should do it for you for now
