Try checking your phone book, or online. Im sure that at most dance studios they offer private classes, where you dont have to be in a recital, if you can't find a class or studio without a recital. Hope you find a studio

Unfortunately, most of us don't live in Buffalo, NY so we can't really say. Since you live there, don't you think you would know it better then us? I live in Canada..
