Danceintothelight tipped to win Go Racing In Yorkshire Handicap
Danceintothelight is tipped to win the Go Racing In Yorkshire Handicap at Catterick in England on Wednesday, April 25, 2012. The winner of the class-5 event will be awarded a cash prize of £2,264.
The going will be good to soft in the 1 mile, 3 furlong and 214 yard race, which is scheduled to start at 16:15 GMT. A total of 11 runners will be seen in action and their names are as follows: Jack Dawkins, Danceintothelight, Burns Night, Deep Applause,
Strong Knight, John Forbes, Light The City, Not Til Monday, Stanley Rigby, Lady Norlela and Bavarian Nordic.
Earlier, 14 horses had lined up for the race, but Silent Decision, Al Furat and Dzesmin have been ruled out of action because of injury. The latter of the three is a seasoned runner and could have attracted a lot of bets today, but he has missed out on a
solid opportunity of winning another event.
Looking at the statistics of the other runners, the bookies have given the best odds to Danceintothelight. He is also a veteran runner and might finish on top of the table in the race. However, the punters might not place a lot of bets in his favour, as
his recent performances have not been much impressive.
The five-year-old gelding has participated in 41 races until now, winning three of them and finishing runner up on five occasions. Moreover, he has also secured the third spot on seven times, which shows that he is a consistent performer.
In his most recent race, Danceintothelight was unable to make a big impression, as he finished fourth overall. He was given decent odds back then, but failed to challenge the top three. He will need to be at his absolute best in order to challenge his rivals
in the race at Catterick today.
The Micky Hammond’s trained runner will be partnered by Kelly Harrison, who has won quite a few races at this level, but needs to improve the overall strike rate.
Other than the race favourite, Jack Dawkins will also be the one to watch out for in the race, as he is carrying the winning momentum right now.
