I dance everyday and we have to dance on like a flat carpet. I usually use socks but I'm thinking about getting foot paws. I would also someitimes use them on a gymnasium floor. It would be for turning, leaps, etc Would you recommend foot paws?

  1. yes there pretty good there like all other lyrical shoes so any would do. there better than socks lol =]

  2. yes they r very comfy!

  3. Yes.. that would be perfect for what you need them for :-)

theyre great for turns or whenever you need to use the balls of your feet without the floor giving you burns , there are some that have protection on the heels of your feet to

http://www.discountdance.com/index.php theres a bunch of different kinds there, just go to the "shoes" tab, and on the left there will be a link that says "modern shoes"

I hope they work for you :-)

  4. First of all, what studio do you go to where you dance on carpet? That's really dangerous and unpractical. Second of all, it depends on what type of dance you do. For ballet, you definitely need ballet shoes. For jazz, jazz shoes. For hip hop, dance sneakers. If you're taking modern, you need to dance barefoot to develop calluses. Dance paws are cheating, in my opinion.

  5. yess. sooo good. especially for jazz/lyrical/contemporary, and their quick and easy for quick-changes in shows. they're slippery for pirouettes and fouettes and still grippy. cheaper than shoes too :)

and their good for costumes... .if you don't want shoes :)

  6. yea, they are pretty helpful just dont use them on every floor. For example: They work really well with marley but not so well with kitchen floors.lol. I hope you can understand my comparison. But over all they work really well.

  7. I prefer capezio foot undies to dance paws, they dont cut off the circulation to my toes
