our lyrical dance what do u think??

song was too low and a bit boring. dancers didnt seem to be smiling or showing any emotion, but idk maybe thats just cos the video isnt really clear. choreography was slow and boring even though the dancers all seemed to be capable of doing more since they were all in perfect unison and seemed to have very good technique. they shouldve been put in a dance with something more there level.

i thought that each individual dancer was good but none of them worked in time really, they didnt work together as one. however, the timing got progressively better. overall, the dance moves themselves went well with the choice of music and i progressively enjoyed it more and more, i think you have potential but a lot more work is needed partularly on the timings.

You guys have good potential. The technique is pretty much there. However, I don't think the choreography really fit the song. And it felt as if you guys were just going through the moves without much motivation -- pretty movements without much meaning behind them. So that's a great thing to think about when you're dancing and choreographing: "Why am I doing this move? Is it based on the lyrics, or a hit in the music, etc?"

To me, lyrical is very grounded, and expresses and evokes the most emotion when I watch it and dance it. So as a dancer, it's your job to make the dance filled with your own emotion to share with the audience. You take what the choreographers give you and you take ownership of it when you dance. Not only will that please and honor the choreographer, but it will speak better to the audience and to yourself as a dancer.

So as young dancers, that's something you'll eventually get into. Good job overall though.

the choreography over all got a little step step kick shasse leap over and over again and a little robotic with the steps.  the dance looks like it has potential though, parts of it don't fit with the song very well.  with lyrical i like the movement to at least go with the flow or the sound.

the dancers seem like they have a lot of good technique, but one of my biggest pet peeves is not outstretching your feet when your suppose to and you could tell that most the time it wasn't there.

That was BEAUTIFUL !!!  Your feet had great points and flexes. The turns were perfect and the dancers spotted well. The leaps were awesome. I have been taking ballet for three years and I have my splits. I can't even  do a split as good as the lyrical dancers.This dance expresses emotions. Remember that practicing technique and stretching will get you in  more places !

well i didn't get to see much of the dance because the video paused like every 2-3 seconds and took forever to load..but the parts I saw were good. : ) nice split leaps (grande jetes)

It has a lot of potential. You just have to feel the moves and put some attitude in it and it would make it a million times better. You have the technique but you just want to make the audience go "wow". But it was still really great! Stick with it, you have potential. =]
