Dancewear business...where do I buy inventory!!?

I want to open my own dancewear store but want to start with selling dancewear at dance conventions. BUT....wheres the best "reasonable" place to buy stock? Most wholesalers dont seem wholesale at all. Their prices seem to be like a regular store. HELP!!!
