Dancing Question?

I think I look kind of awkward when I dance, even though I'm pretty flexible. Is there a way to overcome this?

  1. IF Your over flexible it probably makes you look like like pasta, but if you build up some more muscle in your arms and your core (abs) then it Will tighten things up so you can hold positions better

    If your movement is choppy then try to sustain each movement more by taking long breathes through your diaphragm. Try to Inhale in open positions like an arabesque and exhale in contractions. this will make your movement more fluid.


  2. Just try to make your movements more graceful and "flowy." (make your movements flow from one to the next without that awkward stop) use up all of the music and be over dramatic in your movements.

  4. Be confident in yourself! Work on your technique, and find a style and personality when your dancing. YOu can make a character when you dance. !  Work on your face etc. Good luck.!
