Dancing and Flexibility?

I'm looking into taking some pole dancing classes, and I was wondering - I'm not very flexible anymore - but I am only 24 years old... will I be able to regain some flexibility during the courses? What other ways can I regain my flexibility in order to maximize my efforts at pole dancing?

  1. Um stretching...that's how most dancers get flexible. It's not like there's some magic words you can say.

  2. Stretch! Do your splits. If they hurt too much to go down even a little, don't push yourself. At an older age its harder. If you were 10 or 15 I'm sure it would be easier! Just Stretch, Stretch, Stretch! Every day. When you watch TV, or when your laying on the couch. If your a busy person, make 1 hour a day and stretch! Remember; Stretch is your magic word!
